Instructors Criteria

The instructors for the FCD Training Program are carefully selected experts, chosen through a rigorous process for their extensive experience in career development and education. Below is an overview of their qualifications and expertise.

1. Expertise in Career Development

Holds a master’s or doctoral degree in relevant fields (e.g., counseling, career development, educational psychology).
Has completed coursework and practical training specific to career development.
Possesses a minimum of three years of experience in career development (teaching, training, curriculum development, practical application).

2. Expertise in Training

A minimum of three years of experience in adult education.
Experience teaching career-related courses at the university level or training career development professionals.

3. e-Learning Skills and Experience

Experienced in both participating in and instructing online courses.
Proficient in using learning management systems (LMS) or course management systems (CMS).
Skilled in creating and recording video content for educational purposes.

4. Certifications and Memberships

Holds relevant licenses or certifications in counseling, career counseling, or career development.
Active member or leader in professional associations.

MIWA OMORI

Holding master’s degrees in education and human development from U.S. graduate schools, she gained hands-on counseling skills through internships under certified supervisors. Since returning to Japan, she has been involved in recruiting international talent, offering career consultations for individuals studying abroad or on working holidays, and teaching career development courses at higher education institutions for over five years. She is a certified CCSP and has completed FCD instructor training. As an NCDA-certified FCD instructor, she provides training that meets international standards. Her active membership in the NCDA Global Career Committee keeps her up-to-date on the latest trends in career support, allowing her to maintain a global perspective in her work.
